Italy win the World Cup

So Italy have won the Worrld Cup in Dramatic fashion in a penalty shoot out. Amazingly Zidane is sent off with 10 minutes to go after an awful headbutt to the chest on one of the Italian players.

What a game, one of the best world cup finals for many a year.....................

Now for the golf.... Stephen Dodd won the European Open at the K Club earlier this afternoon and it looks like Trevor Immelmenn is going to win the Western Open.

I am writing this as Vijay and Matthew Goggin come down the last. So if I am wrong I will find out in the morning as i am just off to bed. (It is 1am here in Poland)

If you have been a struggling golfer for some time, it is in your best interest to view players who shoot lower scores than you as different, not better.

Those players use different mental thoughts, practice habits, levels of dedication, concentration skills, etc.

Players who continue to fail often make the mistake of just trying to replicate a professional's swing and short shot techniques without understanding how these skills came to be. Keep in mind that the swings and mental skills of the top players were a learned behavior; they weren't born with it.

And since we all agree that the mind controls the body, how about asking your local teaching professional for a "thoughts" or concentration lesson. You might not have to swing a club to get better.
