Mental Golf Instruction

Hi, Richard here from www.biggolflesson.com with information about our new free golf instruction lessons online.

I have just completed a new e mail course which is focussed on using mental techniques and practical golf drills to improve your golf game and lower your golfing handicap.

We have put 24 drills in this e mail series and subscribers receive one drill every three days.

I have attached the first drill below for you to read now.

GROW YOUR OWN GOLF TREE

So What is a golf tree? and how do you grow your own tree?

Well it's not something that you buy at your local gardening centre that you plant in the garden and then sprinkle some water on. However your golf tree does need planting and it needs help from you to help it grow.

Your golf tree is going to be your very own plan of targets and goals you want to achieve with your game, they can be anything you want, let your imagination run wild.

One of the goals could be to shoot an eagle (not easy but entirely possible for any level of golfer) One of the goals could be to win your club monthly medal, another could be to lower your handicap by 4 strokes during the season.

To hit these goals you need to have the right mindset and mental belief.

So lets start building your own golf tree.

I want you to take a pen and paper and write down all the things you can think of that you would like to achieve with your golf game during the golf season.

Once you have them written down I want you to put them in order.

Number 1 should be the goal which you think is going to be the easiest to hit, with number 2 the next easiest, and so on until you have numbered all the goals

Once you have your list I want you to take another piece of paper and draw a tree, yes a tree with big branches.

Once you have drawn your tree you should place each of your goals on the branches of the tree with your easiest goal (No 1) at the bottom and your hardest goal at the top of the tree.

It is a good idea to visualise each goal as an apple which you pick once you have achieved the goal.

You have probably heard the term "Pick the low hanging fruit" we do this because it is the eaiest to reach.

This exercise is fun and also gives you a visual aid that you can refer to. You can maybe stick it in your locker at your local club so that you see it each time you go to play or alternatively you can keep it in your golf bag in a special pocket.

Good luck with this and if you would like to receive the full course then you can sign up for this free course at www.biggolflesson.com

All the best and enjoy your golf

Richard
